DIRECTOR 

Wilary Winn, LLC seeks a Director in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Lead and manage engagements in accordance with the firm's quality standards ensuring timely high quality service that meets or exceeds client expectations and meets budget and timelines on the following product lines: Non-agency mortgage-back securities (MBS), Pooled Trust Preferred CDOs (TruPs), Current Expected Credit Loss (CECL), Ad-hoc and future product lines, Troubled Debt Restructuring (TDR), Purchase Credit Impaired (ASC 310-30), and subordinated debt instruments.

Provide training, direction, mentoring, and supervision to firm's managers and senior financial analysts. Stay up-to-date on financial industry trends and issues in order to professionally represent the firm and develop new or additional business for the firm.

Publish white papers demonstrating the firm's knowledge of trends in the industry. Generate new business that is profitable and sustainable by: attending and speaking at industry events and conferences; participating, including preparing and presenting, in Wilary Winn webinars; calling on potential clients and referral sources directly in-person or by telephone; and, participate in financial services organizations to develop and maintain positive relationships with other participants in order to generate business opportunities, enhance the firm's image, and identify potential employees.

Other duties as assigned. Must have proof of legal authority to work in the U.S. 

Required Education:

Master's Degree in Business Administration or Master of Science in Finance including specific graduate or undergraduate coursework in Financial Statement Analysis, Econometrics, Advanced Money and Capital Markets, and Advanced Financial Management. Alternatively, undergraduate or graduate courses with similar titles covering advanced accounting principles, investment, finance, money and banking and statistics would also be accepted.

Required Experience:

(A) at least one year of experience in an Analyst position;

(B) at least one year of experience performing valuations of non-agency mortgage-backed securities;

(C) at least one year of experience valuing Troubled Debt Restructuring (TDR)s and providing advice on the impairment reserve related to TDRs;

(D) at least one year estimating lifetime expected credit losses in accordance with CECL;

and (E) at least one year of experience advising on accounting for purchased loans with deteriorated credit quality under FASB ASC 310-30.

All of these experience components (A)-(E) may be gained concurrently in the same one-year period.
